Inspired by tunes he heard playing on the kitchen radio as a child, Christian Antonius Müller began his piano-playing explorations by the age of four and wrote his first compositions as an eight year old. He has been studying, improvising and writing music ever since. His has been influenced by both classical and contemporary music. In 2007 Müller performed his songs as a solo act while touring the USA on the bill with several other bands. Inspired by the encouragement he received from many different people, he decided to record most of the songs that he had been working on up to that point. The songs he subsequently recorded, and that are presented here on his first singer-songwriter album “Tikkun”, reveal the unique style that Müller has developed over the past few years. The title of this CD comes from the mystical Hebrew concept of “Tikkun Olam” meaning “to heal, perfect and transform the world”. The songs presented here are dedicated to humanity and the Earth, with all its animals, plants and elements, in the hope that by synchronizing with the daily cycle of the sun humankind will live in peace and harmony soon.
